DIABOLO TRADER ONBOARDING

This document explains how to join the Diabolo trader team and trade with our platform

1. Register on Diabolo website

Visit the Diabolo website. Once on the home page, click on the trader menu on the top bar. This will redirect you to the diabolo trading page. Scroll down until you see the green button ouvrir un compte trader. Click on it and you are redirected to the trading website. Register your account.

2. Use the home trading platform

2.1. Log in and choose your products

Once you are registered, everything is done and you can start trading with a demo account. The main menu is on the right side of the page.

You first need to choose on which exchange you want to trade. You have three choices: ● Spot bitcoin (Binance)

Here you will access all pairs denominated in BTC.

● Spot USDT (Kucoin)

Here you will access all pairs denominated in USDT stable coin

● Futures USDT (Binance)

Here you will access all pairs as perpetual futures. Be aware that perpetual futures don’t have an end of month settlement. The other difference with regular Futures is the funding fees you will pay each 4 or 8 hours, depending on the exchange. These fees are usually paid by the longs to the shorts, unless you have more short open positions. In this case, the fees are paid by the shorts to the longs. Even if the funding rates are low, somewhere around 0.1-0.2 %, this may have a final cost in case you keep your position open too long (a few days/weeks).

Funding rates are found on the exchange page, or on this website for a list of all major websites.

2.2. Make your trade

Once you have chosen your product, click on the Smart trading section on the left menu bar. This will redirect you to the Diabolo trading platform.

A few things have to be known about how the tool works.

● Ensure the button is on the Demo account (blue one in this case) and not on Real account (green). The button is right below the BUY market/limit area. ● Choose the product you want to trade by opening the menu right below the chart under Pair. You will then see a list of available token.

● To create an order, you need to choose between the Buy market and Buy limit buttons, and Long or Short for the Futures.

● By default, the platform asks you to enter a Take profit limit order and a Stop limit order levels. Just click on the on/off button to activate/deactivate this functionality. You will be able to add such levels after you have done the trade by clicking on the Edit button (see next section)

● Once you have chosen your order type and your setup, click on the create trade green button to send the order to the exchange.

● Once your order has been sent to the exchange, you will see it on the opened trades list right below the order creation area.

2.3. Modify and close your trade

Once your order is filled, you see the trade in the opened trades list. You have three buttons at the end of the line with the trade.

This will show you few informations like time, product and price of execution ● Edit

This allows you to enter a take profit level or a stop loss level

● Market sell

Click on it and your position will be closed at market price. Warning: please use this button to close a short position on Futures, even if market sell a short trade is something really weird.

2.4. View closed trades

Last area on your trading page is a list of closed trades. All trades have an ID. Use this one to report to Diabolo any issue with a trade. The details button lets you view trade

information like date and time, buy and sell prices, as well as the number of trades you made for your followers.

3. Join our Discord

Our communication tool is a Discord server. You can use the mobile app, a desktop app or your browser to access the server. You need to register an account on Discord and then visit this link to join us.

The server offers many public rooms as well as some private ones. Our trade team is gathered on a public room named #trade-team. Join it and will have access to all other traders and some members of the Diabolo staff. This is the place to get help and ask anything about trading.
